Lighting Design & Process
Beautiful lighting takes time, skill and careful consideration. Cat Lighting uses a one-to-one, fully hands-on approach that takes you from first idea to that wonderful moment when the lights go on.

Initial Consultation
- An introductory call to learn about your project and the level of design involvement you're looking for.
- A site visit for a personal consultation to discuss your ideas in detail, with test lighting sessions to explore what's possible.
- This is where the magic starts — you see your space in a new light and discover how it could look and feel.

Design & Planning
- A Proposal is presented detailing the Cat Lighting services, with concepts for your lighting scheme and the Design & Consultancy fee.
- On acceptance of the Proposal, first plans are drawn up for consideration.
- Plans evolve as ideas form and options are refined until you're completely happy to approve the final lighting plan.

Specification & Project Management
- A site visit is arranged with the contracting team to confirm the plan.
- The list of light fittings required is drawn up and sent to suppliers.
- Ongoing support and advice is provided alongside the installation team until the job is complete — and that wonderful moment when the lights go on.

Pricing
- Every project is bespoke, with the design fee priced according to size and complexity.
- Recommendations will be made in line with your budget.
- Supplier invoices are passed direct to you, so you always have clarity and control.
