“Clare helped me with an outbuilding conversion at the building warrant stage. Our particular challenge was creating defined areas in an open plan kitchen, dining and living area and we were keen to keep to a tight budget.
During the site visit, Clare asked lots of questions about how we planned to use the space, lay out furniture and place special pieces and pictures. She was very good at listening to our ideas and bouncing ideas around to develop them.
Her report was based on floor plans and inspiring images that she presented room by room on her computer. It really brought her suggestions to life and helped me imagine how we could enhance the space.
Clare is very personable and customer focused. Her mission is to suggest lighting solutions that her customers will love, not foist her ideas on a project. I’d have no hesitation in recommending her services.”
Project – Stone Barn
“Asking Clare to design and manage the lighting for our Byre conversion was the best thing I did! I’ve always appreciated how the lighting can completely make or break a project, but only someone as passionate and experienced as Clare could possibly know about them all and which combination will create exactly the effect that you are looking for.
She came to us with a whole basket of lights so she could demonstrate what she had in mind. Uplighting the old whinstone walls literally brought the whole building to life again! Her scheme was simple yet versatile and I could see that going to the expense of putting windows into the roof wouldn’t be necessary.
She liaised with my electrician and when he had finished, we met on site to be sure we were completely happy with everything.
Happy? We were delighted! And in terms of my time, money and angst saved, Clare was worth every penny, several times over!”
